Crinum powellii Album is a stately thing, sending up metre tall stems of pure white trumpet flowers in August and September. The bulbs are enormous and resent disturbance, so choose a warm sheltered spot against a wall, plant with the neck at soil level, and leave them to settle into a long lived clump that gets better each year.
