Dwarf narcissi follow the same divisions as the full sized daffodils, simply smaller in every part. This is the section we would send anyone planting a patio container, a rock garden or the front of a border.
Ours are of the finest quality and give an abundance of flowers, and when allowed to establish they will afford much pleasure for many years. They run from Little Gem and Julia Jane at around 15cm up to Cornish Chuckle at nearer 30cm.
Tete-a-Tete is the one most people know, though Minnow, Elka and Jack Snipe are every bit as good and rather less often seen.
Where Dwarf Narcissi Do Best
Unless your containers are very large, this is the section to choose from for a patio display. They are equally good at the front of a border and in a rock garden, where the full sized daffodils would look out of scale.
When Do They Flower?
February through April, so they will start the daffodil season off for you.
