Eremurus, the foxtail lily, is one of the bulbs less commonly seen that we would always recommend for your consideration. Their towering spires rise above the border in June, carrying hundreds of small flowers. Plant the crown just below the surface on a mound of well-drained soil, spreading the roots outward, and give them an open sunny position where they can be left undisturbed.
