A deep, velvety crimson flowers with a darker, almost blackened throat give this variety real depth and richness. The broad petals open wide and flat, creating a bold face that stands out clearly against fresh green foliage. Plant bulbs with the neck just above the soil level in a warm sheltered spot. Use fertile free draining soil and water regularly during active growth. Feed every two weeks once in leaf.
