Amaryllis Double Dragon makes an unashamed spectacle of itself. Fully double flowers of deep velvet red are carried on stout stems in winter, each bulb throwing two or more. Pot the bulb with its shoulders above the compost, water sparingly until growth shows, then stand back. One of the most dependable of the doubles for flowering indoors.
