PARROT TULIPS

Parrot Tulips are often found in classical paintings; they’re a truly remarkable plant. Named for the shape of the bud before they flower, said to resemble a parrot’s beak, they are flamboyant, colourful and showy. I would recommend planting these in a pot, container or prominent border position for the first year as they are really deserving of taking the focal point. However, they will succeed in any garden setting. One of the later flowering tulips they are a fantastic way to end the spring and welcome in summer.
