Gloriosa
Gloriosa can be started indoors and moved outside once the chance of frosts has passed in May. This climbing plant thrives in a warm sheltered spot in full sun, and does especially well in a large pot on the patio. Plant the tubers in a light loam and compost mix, water freely once in growth, and it will reward you with its exotic flowers in July and August.
