Double Begonias

The double begonias carry large rose-like blooms right through the summer until the first frosts. They are amongst the finest plants for the more shaded areas of the garden and patio, flowering freely where little else will. Start the tubers indoors in spring, hollow side up and barely covered, and move them out once the chance of frost has passed. Lift after the first frost and store dry over winter.
