Zephyranthes

Zephyranthes, also known as rain lilies, are charming bulbous plants that produce delicate, crocus-like flowers in various colours, such as white, yellow, pink, or red. They are native to the Americas and bloom from spring to autumn, often after rain. They are easy to grow and require a sunny and sheltered position, well-drained soil, and protection from frost in colder areas. Zephyranthes are ideal for rockeries, borders, containers, or indoor pots. They have a sweet fragrance and attract butterflies, bees and hummingbirds.
